Weekend Estimates: TLR - 13.5M; Furious 7 - 60.5M; Home - 19M [F7 - 63M OD in China!]

I think Unfriended will do around $30m too. Anywhere from $25-35m really.

65,000,000 trailer views between YouTube and Facebook, more than Mad Max.

It's got a very teen, social media audience so I expect Fault in Our Stars type legs. Currently 85% on Rotten Tomatoes from a handful of reviews.

The stars of Longest Ride have dipped their toes in horror previously: Britt Robertson (Scream 4) and Scott Eastwood (Texas Chainsaw).

Oh dear. Dude needs to pick better projects.

Nope.

And filmlover is right. Unfinished Business is one of them.

Thanks.

LOL, I'm so behind on movies news and stuff cause of work amd school. But summer vacation is coming, so exciting time ahead.

http://variety.com/2015/film/news/furious-7-cruising-to-another-big-weekend-at-box-office-1201470367/

"Universal’s “Furious 7″ is maintaining plenty of heat at the U.S. box office with a second weekend in the $60 million range at 4,004 locations, according to early estimates.

Despite the 58% decline, “Furious 7″ has become one of only a dozen movies to chalk up a second weekend above $60 million.

Romance “The Longest Ride” has launched respectably for Fox with about $14 million at 3,365 locations with $5.5 million on Friday as the romance offers counter-programming to the action-packed tentpole."

The Longest Ride,” based on a Nicholas Sparks novel about a bull rider and a college student, will battle for second place with the third weekend of DreamWorks Animation’s “Home” — also handled by Fox.

Disney’s fifth weekend of “Cinderella” and Warner Bros. third session of “Get Hard” will fight for fourth in the $7 million to $8 million range."

No Friday numbers per normal. But they're saying 60M so yay, hope it'll hold up to that.

Well they gave a 5.5 Friday for TLR. That's the only one though.

It stars the girl from Tomorrowland and Clint Eastwood's son (?)

Yes, Scott Eastwood is Clint's son.

Britt Robertson has Tomorrowland coming up but is otherwise mainly known for starring on a bunch of canceled CW shows.

I know her from Under the Dome. I loved her there

Too bad they had to saddle her with that idiotic storyline where Andy Samberg's evil twin kept her prisoner inside his bunker for so much of the first season.

Although season one was at least so ridiculous that you could laugh at its absurdity of how it wasted its interesting initial concept. I bailed a few episodes into season two because it wasn't even fun to hate-watch anymore.

I never returned for season 2. Maybe one day.

My crazy 2nd weekend predict ($62.5 million) could actually turn out to be true.

Hopefully West Coast evening shows push it closer to $20-21 million on Friday.

If it gets $65-70 million for its 2nd weekend, $400 million is legitimately in the cards
