= $560m $555m

Weekend 1 OS-Ch was 197, weekend 2 might be 75-90m

China 15-20?

Yeah it should cross 700M by this Sunday.... but won't go much higher.

DOM will have 55-60M weekend with 265-270M cume.

OS will have 100-105M weekend with 440-445M cume.

So I guess 710 WW.

1B is probably gone now.

Why is 1B WW a distant possibility? I think it most likely will happen.

920-950m WW probably.

Dom is looking at 355-370m. So it needs 630-645m OS.

I think 370m Dom/580m OS/950m WW is the high-end and 355m Dom/565m OS/920m WW is the low-end.

Weird, isn't it?

Instead of one of the top 25 heavy hitting billionaires of all time.....some people think it might land in the similar WW-territory as Hobbit: DOS & Hobbit: BOTFA. :(

Granted, those 2 movies were more well-received and more well-liked.

In some markets, weekend starts from Wednesday or Thursday.

I know but that just means the drop off will be bigger and it will probably already be big because of Good Friday inflation in many countries

For it to end up with $75-90m -China O/S 2nd w/e it would have to drop  just 42 - 51%.

Yes you're right.  I meant the "opening".

But also it seemed like they gave new estimates every day: First they said 7m for Wednesday, then thursday they said  44m total but only 33m on Thursday.  Assuming Wed+Thurs was actually $44m the FSS OS-Ch was $152.9m

Here's my attempt to keep everything straight, but it's slightly adjusted from the daily estimates to force fit the final tallies.

Monday 28/03: $31M (OS) + $15M (DOM)          $287.5M total OS

Tuesday 29/03: $20.7M (OS) + $12.2M (DOM)    $308.2M total OS

Wednesday 30/03: $20.9 (OS) + $8.1M (DOM)    $329.1M total OS

Around 16M Thursday, OS cume 345M

Yikes, I thought my guess of $18m was conservative.

Roughly:

422 - March 27

690 - Apr 3 (+268)

800 - Apr 10 (+110)

850 - Apr 17 (+50)

875 - Apr 24 (+25)

890 - May 1 (+15)

900 - May 8 (+10)

915-925 - Rest

The drop from the opening to the first full week is pretty bad.  JW had no openings its second weekend and was 524/457.  Furious 7 with only holdovers was 397/321.

If UK, China, and Russia are any indication, BvS is crumbling to the ground this weekend and $1B is far out of reach.

IMO sub-950m is a lock.

With Dom now looking at 340-350m, OS needs to be 550-560m for 900m WW.
