Gokai Red
TDK will already overtake AoU's gross through the same point starting with Thursday's gross. TDK had massive summer weekdays where the kids were out of school. Try again after the weekend.
#ED
These comparisons suck. 2 July Movies. 1 movie from 2002. Obviously it's way off Avengers.
Mango
Did anyone else read Mojo's weekend report? Apparently AoU was 59% over 25. Just kind of shocking to me, seeing as how we always push Avengers as one of the more "family heavy" titles.
Deep Wang
I would be very happy with a 55% drop, but I think it'll be more than that... The Russo's better dot there "I's and cross there "T's" when it comes to the handling of female characters for INFINITY WAR, Otherwise, they'll endure what Whedon is going through right now... No, Whedon is getting shit because he is an outspoken supporter of feminism.
movieboner
I think F7 will finish with $355 domestically.
filmscholar
I think F7 will finish with $355 domestically. Based on it's overseas performance, I would think 400 Million domestic should of been a cakewalk.
lilmac
533M was impossible to reach since the OD numbers got confirmed. Well, since Saturday. Not Friday.
Captain Craig
Did anyone else read Mojo's weekend report? Apparently AoU was 59% over 25. Just kind of shocking to me, seeing as how we always push Avengers as one of the more "family heavy" titles. Which has been a fallacy. Not that it isn't a family film it's just that this is a film comprised of characters who've been around for 50+ years. There are a lot of adults with a vested interest in seeing these films. #ED
I still can't believe that huge SAT drop for TA2 compared to the first. Blame the fight, Derby, Hockey playoffs, NBA playoffs and of course Tele.

PDC1987
Based on it's overseas performance, I would think 400 Million domestic should of been a cakewalk. Oh please. You've been here long enough to know that's not how it works.
#ED
Wonder if any film will beat TA Sat and Sunday any time soon? Sunday was technically already beaten, as FF7 debuted on a Sunday in China with 67M.
Dementeleus
And???? This is worth rambling on about this for 50 pages or so???? Surprised Neo or any other MOD hasn't chimed in with "Stay on the Topic Of Discussion" over this??? Any other time, they would've... As a general topic, it's being discussed in the Speakeasy. As it specifically pertains to ULTRON, though, it's on-topic.
