It's getting a similar theater count to Arrival (although it's likely gonna open with half of that movie's opening with about $12M or so).

Happy this is good. I also clearly need to keep trying to step away from pre release gossip in general.

 

I suspect the fears about how it will play with audiences are overblown. They're much more open to "thinking" sci fis than critics and film snobs give them credit for.

anyone know when it releases on Netflix? read somewhere it's 3 weeks after US release? presumably in order to combat piracy while the film plays in the US cinemas. it doesn't have a page on Netflix so cant find much info.
