JennaJ
How many summer movies threepeated or fourpeated? Is that rare or does it happen a lot? I just remember someone predicting that no movie will repeat at #1 for June, which obviously wasn't the case.

Gopher
I did *not* expect Inside Out to be a weekend film. It's doing okay weekdays but its Fri/Sat jump was bigger than most Pixars and its Monday drops are worse. Either way, it needs a 20% bump today to hit 200! Gopher
Wow, Out of the Furnace opened to 5 million. I loooooved that movie. I remember seeing it in an empty theater on Christmas Eve that year wondering why nobody gave it a chance.
goldenstate5
ID4 is observed on Friday this year, so maybe it'll bolster a slightly larger increase than a usual Friday, but yeesh it's going to be rough. It's also really weird since when I was a kid, the family went to the movies on July 4th mostly to get out of the heat... growing up I always thought it was a really big day for movies, it just turns around the general week of the holiday is but the actual day is terrible. JennaJ
IO WOM is great, not surprised to see it hold well. I plan to see both IO and JW one more time in the cinema. keysersoze123
IO WOM is great, not surprised to see it hold well. I plan to see it and JW one more time in the cinema. I love that it and JW are two ginats that didn't impeded each other while everything else flops around them. They actually played off each other. Kind of like Catching Fire and Frozen did. But animation tend to hold on longer and ultimately JW will slow down. Especially when it loses premium screens. But I am hoping JW still beats Titanic. That target is still possible.
