I kinda don't want to hate this because visually it looks very impressive, probably the best SPA has done, but the content is just bad. What a waste.

This looks like a blatant rip off of Lego with some Ralph thrown in, but lets be honest, this could be much much worse. Outside of the jokes, SPA actually seems to be trying with this. It doesn't look great, but its obviously not trying to be a top tier talent. The internet will trash it, but the GA will find it cute. Should be a success.

 

If the eggplant, water drop, and peach emoji are in the same scene, you can pretty much lock this up as the #1 movie of August. That's what people really want to see.
