Cruddy Weekend Estimates: A-M 24.77m, Pix 24m, Minions 22m, Trainwreck 17.2m, Southpaw 16.5m, PT 12.5m,

Recommended Posts

I'm hoping Ant-Man keeps the #1 spot. I think I'd like Pixels. From his posts, I think Baumer and I are around the same age and have similar tastes. But I'll probably wait for the Blu-ray on that one unless someone drags me out to see it.

it looks like it can be either Ant-Man, Paper Towns, or even Southpaw have potential of leading the weekend.

they have been off with Pixels numbers from the start from the ridiculous 57 million projection to the 190 domestic total.

Still be that young....  :P  (hi Baumer) For me Tele is young too ;)

Ant-Man finally arrived here too and I have no time to watch it. Maybe in August, when school is out. So happy to be finished with my part of writing the reports/certifications... or however you'll call those.

Very curious about this weekend's numbers, it seems to look like a crowded 'race'

I was this close to give everyone an heart attack and change my name to Ethan Hunt and my picture to the one you are using

I literally just rewatched Face/Off so that would've seemed appropriate. Should have gone for it.

Yeah, I know. Still fun to read the reasonings (for me) and what they end up with... and later compare it to the real results and their daily summary. Even if off, like their style... a lot more than BOMs since a time

i think Boxoffice once sees really good marketing they say that they see a decent sized hit. I wonder how Rogue Nation will do next weekend.

I haven't seen any trailer, poster,... but I'm rather interested how The Man From U.N.C.L.E. will do.

Loved the TV-series then (here it was called Solo für O.N.K.E.L.). Never re-watched it (I am a bit afraid that I might like it less now), might be interesting to do so and compare it to the modern cinema version. Hopefully they included the international team aspect, that was, what I liked especially during the Cold War.

forgot to add: here they only aired around a quarter of all episodes then, starting in '67. Didn't watch the other episodes

pixels wont make shizzle.

after a lackluster preview, an OD less than 10 million, an opening weekend between 21-25 million, an domestic total between 65-75 million domestic. Yeah it's rough, not even overseas will help even with China.
