It's worth noting that album sales don't reflect the impact of the group or the interest in their story.  NWA existed for 5 years, but changed music significantly.  They are the seed that West Coast rap music sprouted from.  They are to hip hop and rap as the Sex Pistols are to punk.

Aw yeah. Here we go

Gonna be fun to see this break out huge. Certain people were saying 20M OW like a week ago

Only downside is the cringeworthy thinkpieces that are being written up right now

Well, NWA is important but Dre alone is like 10 times more important, he s the most influential producer in hip hop history.

He s the real Genius of the gang.

Don't forget this thread will turn into a war over the weekend for... reasons.

Also, the articles about the death of superhero movies this Summer are coming as well. Those are gonna be good.

Faraci never fails to amaze with his stupidity.

Dat expansion. Fox is coming for the record theater drop next weekend

I am hopeful about it. FOX is opening Hitman next weekend. Theaters will need to open space for that other August FOX hit.

They're looking at an impressive 20 dollar theater average this weekend.

Not even sure if it goes that high :P

Paper Towns was still in 1K theaters last weekend?

Barely. Mrs Wrath wanted to see it last week, and it had a single daily showing at 12:15 pm. That was it. So technically it had a screen but practically speaking it was gone.

We've had a couple contenders this year. #mortdecai and Black Hat gave it their all but they were only able to crack the top 10. Fant4stic is our next great hope

I am sure The Gunman and that Vaughn comedy also had pretty crazy theater drops on week 3.
