Thought it was an absolutely brilliant movie. Just not a box office movie. But not all films are. Craziest film I ever saw.

I'm glad she's campaigning too, we get to see a lot more of her! Otherwise she pretty much goes underground when she isn't on a promo tour.

In mother!, Jennifer Lawrence puts to shame all these highly trained ack-tors and ack-tresses, they aren't able to go there, to that raw, naked emotion like this.

The Sirshas and Meryls and Margots and Sallys and Frances of the world are all great actresses, cute and all but it is a bit vulgar & unfair to compare them to what Jennifer Lawrence does in mother!.

In this movie, she is transcendant, in her own dimension of human expression.

She does what I always knew she was able to do when I discovered her in Hunger Games back in March 2012. 

 

From loving, caring & scared mother to raging, helpless & fighting  Gaia and everything in between,

she literally  embodies :

 

the root of all things & emotions,

the Beginning & the End,

the Human Condition at large,

our dying & giving Home Planet, crying in despair for help in agony,

& finally,

the 3,5 Billion beautiful Women who all gave us Life and deserve our utmost respect, now and forever.

 

When a metaphor truly comes to life on Celluloid for the first time in the History of movies.

The Hanks and Day Lewiss and Garys and Roberts and Denzels of the world are all great actors, cute and all but it is a bit vulgar & unfair to compare them to what Ansel Elgort does in Baby Driver.
