EXCLUSIVE: ‘Dora The Explorer’ Will See Dora Navigate Regular High School Life

Nickelodeon along with Micheal Bay’s Platinum Dunes are hard at work preparing for the first live-action adaption of Dora the Explorer. The upcoming film will star Transformers: The Last Knight star Isabela Moner as the title character. The film is also expected to feature her older cousin Diego.

Now we at Omega Underground have uncovered the very first brief plot synopsis for the film. In the film, Dora happens to be one of the smartest girls in the world. She loves to travel the world and explore the wild along with her parents. In the wild she feels right at home among all the animals. However, now she is going to have to navigate the unknown jungle of High School.

Dora the Explorer is expected to begin production later this summer in Australia. The film is being penned by Neighbors 2 and The Muppets screenwriter Nick Stoller. It will also be helmed by The Muppets director James Bobin.

How is this a real movie tho

Michael Bay? Dora the Explorer?

Michael Bay produced one of the best reviewed movies of the year in A Quiet Place. I think the "Michael Bay though" jokes kind of ran their course thanks to that.

Plat Dunes is constantly producing horror. Have they ever produced a non-horror flick before, actually?
