Stupid article writes click bait for clicks. Wow.

If that author could have done anything better in his life he'd achieve 1% of Jim's success. Instead he's stuck to screaming at a brick wall and offering "insight" on some random blog. Pathetic.

Aquaman has to be well reviewed. If it gets trashed by critics it will be too much drama for me handle. I already have my family members who voted for our Trump. Please WB just pay the critics this time.

your family members are smart people

Well, films set in the universe of Narnia have the disadvantage that other franchises don't. Most people have read only one, max 2 books, while HP or LoTR are universally recognised serials. However, I do hope Netflix will make an excellent adaptation of the series, there is so much potential there that Disney should've used, they completely mismanaged their own HP franchise.

Also never forget that TRASHNEY ruined Narnia. The first movie was MASSIVE and it could have been one of the top earning franchises.

Let's just be happy the fantasy bubble burst quickly, because Lotr was the only decent hollywood trilogy we got out of it.

HP is cookie cutter, Narnia and Eragon were more of the same, and the Hobbit was more of a lotr spoof

Omg can anyone explain why Narnia has 34 MILLION reviews on Rotten Tomatoes. Like what happened..?

https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/chronicles_of_narnia_lion_witch_wardrobe/

About the same than the other giant 2005 fanbase movies, Potter and Star wars of that year are in the 33-34 million also.

More an different reviews count wise that anything particular to those movies,  now even Force Awaken has just 250k.

How people votes, need to register to vote, people having now general platform like facebook/twitter to talk about movies and does not need specialized one ?

There's tons of great fantasy material that could have been or could still be adapted.

Narnia was certainly worthy of better but stuff like Eragon was junk to begin with while a fine book series like Susan Coopers The Dark Is Rising was turned into garbage to jump on the fantasy bandwagon and LeGuin's great Earthsea was murdered on TV.

A shame.  There so much great material out there from LeGuin, McKillip, Gavriel Kay, Pratchett, Miéville, Williams, Zelazny et al

The BBC did a very good adaptation in the 80s/90s though the production values were minimal to say the least

Never understood why Alan Garners triology was never turned into movies. He was in the trifecta with Tolkien and Lewis.

My problem is with Hollywood's laziness, I agree that there's tons of good material out there.

But once a movie makes a killing, hollywood rushes in with a ton of bad copies. (Sin City -> The Spirit, 300 ->anything with greek mythology, etc)
