People should not sleep on Eternals (if there even are any doing so). I'm not talking about box office, just its importance as a chapter in the MCU. We're talking about the origins of this universe here. This is perhaps the highest and most overarching a single sub-franchise will go in the MCU.

To me WHATIF? ranks lower purely because I have a hard time getting excited for alternate stories, so something like

I love alternate history, and I guess that extends to counterfactual MCU content. On the one hand sure, it won’t actually influence anything in the future (maybe. With multiverse stuff and a Watcher narrating, you never know if an animated alternate universe will get explored in live action down the live). But being separate from the main timeline also means they just get to do a whole bunch of episodes where each is some different, novel, crazy shit. If they go the direction I’m hoping.

The CGI looks fine to me. As far as the scene, it's not quite as good as Mission Impossible but not every actor can be Tom Cruise.
