Pretty mediocre for Bourne and Bad Moms, especially Bourne. Movies that skew male and are action orientated usually start much higher.  This is around where Spectre was after the first day.

It was? Shit

MI5 4.0m previews x 13.88 = 55.5m OW

STB 5.5m previews x 10.76 = 59.2m OW

Using 4.25m as previews,

MI5 will give BOURNE5 59m

STB will give it 45.75m

Splitting the difference, 52.4m

I wonder if Bourne will be getting another trilogy with Matt Damon.

They'll pretend Bourne Legacy never happened, right?

Poor Jeremy Renner, he was being positioned at the new lead of Mission Impossible and Bourne and is going to get nothing now.

Decent start for Bourne. I can see in the low 50's for the whole weekend based on that preview number. Seeing it tomorrow morning, hoping it's better than reviews indicate, which is usually the case for me with movies with middling reviews.

This is weekend is really just the calm before the Suicide Squad storm next weekend though. Can't wait.

On the bright side he wasn't forced to come back for Hansel & Gretel: Revenge of Gingerbread House

Fortunately for him Hawkeye is the most powerful and respected of all Avengers.

Budget of BORN5 is 120M.

Much less than some of the big films that have release this summer.

So anything close to 50M will be a win.

(hell, 45M would be a win too for it would put it on track to match it's budget dom - something few films have done).

what was train wreck?

Train wreck was $1.8M and did $30M for the weekend. Bad Moms had previews start at 6 PM though and I'm not sure if Train wreck did or not.
