That weekend internal multi for SS is not good. I'd be shocked if it has a multi over 2.2... More than likely, under that. I don't think competition matters. BatSupes didn't have much competition either. But, honestly, stuff like Pete's Dragon, Sausage Party, Kubo, War Dogs and even Ben-Hur and the Mechanic sequel will cut into it some. There may not be one BIG release but there are a whole hell of a lot options over the next two weekends. Pete's Dragon and Sausage Party could both open to $30M+ DOM. And, War Dogs, Ben-Hur and Kubo could open to $20M+ DOM as well the following weekend.

I won the Casino bet in spite of the initial epic drop on Saturday reports :ohmygod:

Let's see how the Squad handle themselves. Zero competition incoming means that they have all the time in the world to make it to 250M DOM... right? RIGHT?!

It will end with 270M.

Wow, Sausage Party is short as hell; the movie itself is a hair under 84 minutes with nearly 5 minutes of credits.

That seems like a good length actually.  At least that's what I've been told.

a wide range with 134 ow,

1.9x 255 [still crosses 250. big success]

2.0x 268 [above CA2; a big 95 away from DP after a slightly bigger ow]

2.1x 281 [crosses Hangover's 277.3 and enters top 15 WB films with a shot at Matrix 2's 281.6]

2.2x 295 [crosses Inception's 292.6 and enters top 10 WB films; also above MOS; WB could push it to 300 if it goes a bit higher than 295]

2.3x 308 [2 300+ films for WB in 2016 and back to back 300+ for DCU]

Huh. Shocked at the lack of fudge here. If the opening weekend really is $134m, I think $300m is right where it ends up, and that's a lot better than we thought it would be on Saturday. The trend of feast or famine continues.

The opening really is 134 mill.
