Best superhero movie of the year so far. Can't wait to get the Blu-ray. On the topic of this week's movies, I thought Sully would do something like 20m, holy crap, very nice for it. I hope Inferno becomes another hit for Tom Hanks later on.

Is the biography more compelling than Flight's story? Is Sully that much better quality wise? First I don't think "Sully" is doing "So much Better" than "Flight", the OW are seperated by about 10 million. For one "Sully" cost about 30 Million more than "Flgiht" and is based on a true story. Clint is obviously a little more popular than Zemekis right now and that was Roberts first live action in years. As people have mentioned it's also not "R-rated" like "Flight" was. "Flight" ended up with a very solid mutiplier at 3.7x. If "Sully" follows that multiplier than we are looking at about 125-130 domestic. Ironically I think Denzel ends up indirectly hurting "Sully" once Mag7 comes out. Anyways reguardless those are solid numbers for "Sully" and I guess we only have "Flight" to compare because Denzel and Tom are about the same ages and the subject matter is simular. "Sully" is also performing better than "Captain Phillips". So Tom is about to make a nice little comback this year with "Sully" and "DC3: Inferno".
