You have correctly determined Spider-Man, the most popular Marvel hero, is in fact bigger than Deadpool.

 

There's also the important fact that it's probably not possible for them to hide Jackman being in the movie anyways considering he's the co-title lead. Tobey and Andrew didn't show up till the third act of the film. It's not comparable.

Y'all keep forgetting how much of a draw Hugh as Wolvie is. Obviously, they would want to have his comeback in the title instead of just calling it Deadpool 3.

People here are forgetting that most people have already seen Jackman and Reynolds pic with their costumes on which went viral. So it makes sense that they would include Wolverine in title. It's not comparable to NWH which had hidden tobey n Andrew spidey

Hiding Jackman was never going to be possible, which was why it was the first piece of news about the movie they released. In this scenario the people filling the Tobey and Andrew type roles would be if they bring back the rest of the original X-Men cast

My problem isn’t that they gave away the fact that Wolverine is in the movie. My problem is that it’s a really lazy title that treats the audience as if they’re morons who otherwise wouldn’t have known that Wolverine is in it. As I said, they could’ve at least chosen some kind of wacky subtitle.  
 

Here’s a different comparison; Civil War didn’t need to put Iron Man’s name in the title.

Yep. Trailer views are useless as comps but this is hard to deny. And just saying "it's only TikTok" doesn't apply here since No Way Home also had TikTok around

You can't use the numbers for anything except gauge whether there is hype, or there isn't.

 

These trailer views means that there is certainly at least some sense of hype, somewhere. Will it blow up? Who knows, but the potential is there
