Captain Craig
I know it's not widespread in the Middle TN area but there are some counties and private schools that take a week break for Thanksgiving. Meaning of course Mon-Wed dailies could and do see a marketed uptick. I'm sure it's spotty like that across the country.

I took the price of the comic Asgard posted as meaning DS would have $1.76m Monday, the would have been funny, 2 films and 2 numbers in one picture.... but it was 'only' the FB that was in it (intetional?), but better for DS, as $1,964,998 is a bit higher than 'your' $1.76m, or?
Jonwo
I think Sing will be successful but I have a feeling it probably won't do as well as Pets but $250-300m domestic seems likely with a lower OS total than Pets. I do wonder what Warner Bros' expectations for Justice League next year, it has the plum mid November slot so they must be expecting $130-140m OW minimum. grim22
Just heard a radio ad which within 2 sentences succinctly explains why "Edge of 17" flopped. The ad pitches the movie as "The teen movie this generation deserves. Sitting at 95% on Rotten Tomatoes" etc. and then ends with "Under 17 not allowed without parent". They literally blocked the same people they need watching it from actually watching it.
