A Quiet Place: 55/740 (Up 16)

Blockers: 23/459 (Up 14)

Ready Player One: 21/579 (Up 9) (17 2D/4 3D) (-70% from last week)

The Miracle Season: 15/390 (Up 5)

Black Panther: 10/314 (Up 6) (+66% from last week)

Acrimony: 7/503 (Up 3) (-90% from last week)

Pacific Rim: 6/390 (+200% from last week)

I Can Only Imagine: 5/785 (-90% from last week)

Sherlock Gnomes: 4/254 (Up 2) (-95% from last week)

Tomb Raider and God's Not Dead have sold nothing.

The 8:30 Acrimony got cancelled for another AQP showing, and AQP and Blockers' late shows have been swapped (former now has the biggest auditorium late while Blockers is in the 4th smallest).

AQP comps:

26% of It (32.1M)

110% of Happy Death Day (28.6M)

125% of Insidious 4 (37M)

130% of Jigsaw (21.3M)

325% of Annihilation (36.1M)

460% of Flatliners (29.4M)

500% of mother! (37.5M)

685% of Strangers (71.2M)

Well shit, these are some pretty disappointing sales after last night. I'll chalk this up to a younger skew and more walkup based audience.

Blockers:

40% of The Hitman's Bodyguard (8.6M)

45% of Daddy's Home 2 (13.4M)

70% of Game Night (11.9M)

765% of Father Figures (26M)

Again, I'll blame this on a younger skew/walkup audience.

The Miracle Season is running at 65% of Midnight Sun (2.6M)

I thought Blockers was supposed to be the crowd pleaser to end all crowd pleasers?
It always looked lame to me.

It is hilarious.

Has lots of 1 star reviews (from people who haven’t seen it) saying it’s pushing a feminist agenda.

I don't get why that group is so insane about brigading reviews. You don't see any attempts to go after the films they like: I can only imagine, death wish, etc. Its annoying.

MT now with three of the new releases:

#1 AQP 28.5%
#2 RPO 13.5%
#3 Blockers 9.9%
#4 A: IW 7.3%
#5 Chappaquiddick 6.1% (a bit surprising, no?)

A little, but MP.com does sell old person movies better than Fandango, since it tends to skew to an older buyer...still, not a bad sign for it...

48M plus for AQP would be great of course :). But I was worried a bit because the percentages stagnated over the last hours. But now AQP increased again two times (different than Alien: Covenant e.g.). So this could be a tiny sign that AQP is not too frontloaded. And Chappaquiddick is also improving more and more at MT (even if the buyers there are a bit older as I learned ;)):

#1 AQP 29.2%
#2 RPO 12.9%
#3 Blockers 11.4%
#4 Chappaquiddick 7.1%
#5 A: IW 5.7%
