48% of Tag (7.2M)

67% of Uncle Drew (10.2M)

58% of Spy Who Dumped Me (7.1M)

56% of Instant Family (8.1M)

The Overboard and Uncle Drew seem like the most fair comps, being comedies opening a week after a breakout hit. Hoping it does more than that tho

Intruder comps:

38% of Truth or Dare (7.1M)

70% of Slender Man (7.9M)

96% of Hell Fest (4.9M)

79% of Escape Room (14.4M)

69% of Miss Bala (4.7M)

35% of Cold Pursuit (3.9M)

Even considering Endgame, this is still pretty mediocre. Ah well.

Uglydolls comps:

198% of Show Dogs (11.9M)

41% of Goosebumps 2 (6.3M)

41% of A Dog's Way Home (4.6M)

79% of Kid Who Would Be King (5.7M)

26% of Wonder Park (4.1M)

85% of Missing Link (5M)

I thought people said Pulse was not reliable cause of issues it's having?

It should be fine today and tomorrow (not 100% sure about that but I’d assume so but all

depends on how high End Game gets today) might get funky again Friday, Saturday and Sunday then it should normalize again Monday.

Today's probably going to be 25M for Endgame, which is definitely still big, but a lot more manageable than 30M+. FWIW, when you look at Pulse, there's a lot more "1 ticket sold" movies in there than there were on Monday or Tuesday.

10am all summed to 3884, so I think we're near the cap still but not hit yet.

11am currently at 3000, with the last 15 minutes of data to be added, so will hit the cap.

I believe the 4000 cap is really 4 1000 individual caps in 15 minute increments, so it was probably a partial hit there, unless it was really lucky.

Never stay at hotels. I'm literally filing a complaint on a hotel rated 4.7(out of 5) on Google with 300+ reviews. Only a year o two old but not brand new.

I've stayed in 60 airbnbs. This would be 61st on my list lol. I've had better experiences at several Super 8s than this. Good god :( for Christ sakes their room service didn't even work. Let me give you money lol :(

My wife is so upset because she kinda likes hotel but with a kid they suck imo (with a 4 year old). Adjoining rooms and it's still bad just sad arrrrggghhhhh. But hey maybe this means tomorrow will be a good day!

I'm sorry for your troubles, I hope things improve.

Though this probably belongs in the "Casual conversation" thread not the box office tracking thread.

Ah yes of course. I knew that already but didn't think about what I was really typing...

The early preview shows just keep on coming...

On Saturday, May 18, Rocketman will be getting the "Fandango Early Access" treatment with 7 PM screenings. Awesome!

Then on Saturday, May 25, Secret Life of Pets 2 will have Fandango Early Access shows at 3 PM. Also awesome I guess (probably gonna skip that one though. I went to an early access showing of Lego Movie 2 at that time and...let's just say it did not go over well)

Final count at my theater for today (Just Thursdays)-

Aladdin-44 (+1), 7 screenings (2 IMAX, 2 3D, 2 Regular+Fan Screening)

Detective Pikachu-104 (-6, not sure if I miscounted earlier and I didn't realize it or if people cancelled seats), 6 screenings (3 3D, 3 Regular)

John Wick-48, 4 Screening (2 IMAX, 2 Regular)

Total gains today for Aladdin from last night were 18 tickets, Detective Pikachu sold at least 5 tickets today (Yet lost 6? But I might have miscounted earlier), and John Wick sold one ticket today.

New count for today ((Woke up a bit late so this'll be merging morning and mid-day)) again just as a reminder this is only Thursdays-

Aladdin-48 (+4), 7 screenings (2 IMAX, 2 3D, 2 Regular+Fan Screening)

Detective Pikachu-104, 6 screenings (3 3D, 3 Regular)

John Wick-48, 4 screenings (2 IMAX, 2 Regular)

Ah, cool.  Just the justification I need not to track SLOP2's preview night after all. 👍

(Gonna be tracking way too many things and I've been dreading the idea of looking at SLOP2's sales for even a week)

Hmm, Pets banking on Aladdin not being a big family mover, and wanting to get some Memorial Day Saturday family business...and banking that they are liked:)...if Pets isn't liked, this will kill their OW...
