The reissue will be interesting. How many will resee endgame just for the extra bits? Be fascinating of this made 50 mil plus in sales just on extra stuff

I know of several people online that haven’t seen yet and are using the re-release to catch up before Spider-Man: Far From Home.

I'm not seeing much pickup for AE locally yet.

Since 10 am this morning i've seen 18 more tickets sold for 3 theaters near me. All but 2 of them for Fri and Sat.

I have 0 tickets sold for Monday and 10 sold for Sunday across the 3 theaters.  just over 40% of the showings from Fri through Mon have 0 tickets sold.

I am still not convinced this will do more than 5-6M total for the weekend and I think the dropoff on Sunday is going to be quite large. I think the real core will show up. But that will be about it. I wouldn't expect much walk-ups for it.

Unless this gets a much bigger push and a China re-release I don't think it will make enough to get over Avatar.

It is already clear that with this kind of improper "re-release", How can people expect it to pass Avatar. The point now is to close the gap as much as possible.

Overseas will be the key if AEG really wants to beat Avatar ... domestic contribution is just a bonus ..

Yes. And the overseas situation so far with this kind of improper "re-release" is even worse

Isn't that the definition of front loaded. if this ratio persists its looking a huge 2nd day drop.

By this logic the Friday of CM (insert any other movie with decent-to-great presales) would have been below the previews since its preview sales were above Friday at this point, and CM's Saturday would have dropped from its Friday for the same reason. That's why you can't really project the daily trend just from PS ratios. Both Day 2 and 3 are more than double AMATW at the same point, and well below CM at the same point, just like OD+MN is for CM and AMATW OD+previews.

This time is already early morning Thursday in the Estern zone and many countries still dont have the announcement yet, including major markets such as SK, Japan, India,... so it means they wont have it. Moreover, in case of those who confirmed, there are very limited showtime and days. There are countries only have 1-2 days for this.

Shows on earlier days sell more but Spidey is skewed very much on OD(PS is like 55% at this point) as opposed to Cap Marvel where Thu to Fri to Sat were fairly close to each other. Only other movie which I remember was so skewed recently was Zilla and that is having a frontloaded OW and run.

It doesn't mean that they won't have it. It IS A global re-release just like the Russo Brothers have stated, but things like this take time, and we will end up getting the details soon enough. Be patient.

It doesn't have previews. Hence the OD is getting both preview and pure OD demand

Exactly. Like I’ve said, things like this take time. I just hope here in Brazil we get confirmation for that to happen before Spider-Man: Far From Home’s midnight. Big opportunity there for one hell of double features.
