12 Strong 31 1427 2.17%
Den of Thieves 155 923 16.79%

For whatever reason, Den of Thieves is catching on a tad at my theater. 12 Strong doesn't look very good, but the movie's going to be more walkup-driven, so it's not like it needs incredible presales. I'll see if I can take a look at Maze Runner, Shades, and Panther, but I've got a busy day today, so don't count on it.

I, Tonya will likely be going into 1K+ theaters next weekend.

Any comparisons for 12 strong vs. 13 hours, Thieves vs. Sleepless?

Nope. Reserved seating only started back in September 2016, and I've only been tracking this since May-ish

50 Shades is tracking at 37-40m per Deadline

Peter Rabbit mid-20's

15:17 to Paris 10m-20m (lol)

Expected for Fifty Shades

Strong for Peter Rabbit

Honestly, The 15:17 might go even lower. Marketing is SUPER unclear as to what the movie actually is.

I think Peter Rabbit could actually end up breaking out big enough. like $30m/$125m+

I'm somewhat getting that feeling too, especially if A Wrinkle in Time underperforms as much as I think it does

James Corden and his insanely popular Carpool Karaokes could end up bringing that audience along with all the family audience

Plus, DAJK humiliating himself dressing up as a rabbit will bring in millions ;)

I can only try a comparison to „Only the Brave“ which opened to 6M (sometimes I record the data for later comparisons but I hope I did‘t miss something which could be since I don‘t get Pulse and can only look what is reported here.)
Only the Brave appeared on MT several hours later than 12 Strong with 5.4% and the best figure I have (edit: sorry, before the first Friday estimates appeared, I always think in European time) was 9.5% on Friday ca. 11am-2pm American time (8pm in Germany).
And on Pulse OTB didn‘t appear till Tuesday after its OW.
So I also think the result of 13 Hours is a good benchmark.

MT update:

#1 The Post 13.5%
#2 12 Strong 8%
#3 The Greatest Showman 7.6%
#4 Jumanji 7.6%
#5 Den of Thieves 6.3%

These are fantastic for my club if they hold. Both would likely finish 85-95 and miss 100 opening to that.
