Care to explain why you think that?

I don't know why you're acting like WW is something that was walkup friendly; the good WOM undoubtedly helped, but WW is still an established character, be it from BVS or American culture for decades. This is why I won't buy something is more or less walkup friendly when Black Panther and Captain Marvel's solo flicks come out.

no reason to release reviews when they will likely be vitriolic

sell by date? It is still going to make a large profit and this is Paramount's biggest franchise. The franchise isn't going away anytime soon. Though they definitely should find ways to shake it up a bit

If the domestic drop for this one is severe enough they'll probably focus on individual characters. They have the Bumblebee movie coming next year.

If families *again* were the wild card with GOGT2 and WW, we won't have a definitive picture for SMH until the release date...

...by the way Iron Man being in the movie = frontloaded movie is just

I don't think the studios have anything to do with T-Mobile offering cheaper tickets.

I wonder how it work, a studio cannot give theater chain ticket to anyone they do not own them or tell theater chain what to do.

The deal must involve Fandago and theater chain that deal with Fandago, and I would imagine if they get some kind of lower price bulk deal on the movie ticket a deal with the movie distributor.

TF5 is the first major opener to have Tuesday previews since Tuesday became a massive box office day, no? Maybe The Hobbit 3 is, but then TF5 is certainly the first since then.

I wonder if that will lead to a small ratio of previews to OD.

And maybe some theater chain will not include that new movie in their usual rebate.

My theater does Discount Tuesday and all of the prices for tomorrow night's shows is like it was any other day. So no effect there.
