RO Opened to 135 (with Sk, without China) and 10M china would mean 145M that is way more thought than what is likely

Minus 7.8m from japan, doesn't open this weekend. So you get my $138.6m OW.

So RO opened with $135M - 7.8M (JP) + 4M (SK) =131.2M

+10M China = $141.2M

I counted all of the OW on Bom, and the total gross. And the markets listed made for $506m out of $520m. So yeah if the not listed countries were frontloaded that might do the trick.

Thats what we are saying. They claim $300m OW WW, that would require a better OS opening than RO and $150m DOM.

250 global ow (excluding Mem Day or Mondays everywhere) will be tough to breach. 300 seems like a distant dream.

2.7-2.8 global legs seem like the limit. Gives 675-700 ww with 250 ow.

The grosses for individual countries are inaccurate. They shouldn't add up to the OS total and if they do, it's just a coincidence. There are movies on BOM for which the OS total is smaller than the sum of all individual countries.

Yeah I know, that's why I did 506m / 520m to see how much it was off. But probably still in accurated.

On a positive note the exchange rates are better than when R1 was released. Euro/dollar at the time was 1.04 vs 1.20 now.

1.174 atm yesterday it was 1.169 so hopefully it goes up even more by the end of the weekend.

Suddenly $100m OS seems like a tough goal (and that's just -30% from RO's calculation above by @Taruseth)

 

Personally, I think it could go below $100m 3-day in U.S., which means $200m OW WW would be tough to reach. And yet Deadline has been $300-350m iirc

Thats a very, very, very big drop in one of it's main markets.

The most important markets where it has to hold if it doesn't want to go below $650m are:

 

DOM (obviously) this needs atleast 340m to beat JL I think

 

OS:

 

UK

China (Well 20m here would be super crazy optimistic)

Germany

France

Japan

Australia

 

These 6 markets made up for 60% of RO OS gross.
