1. Aside from the 1st scene with Laura that I mentioned earlier, I thought the rest were pretty poorly done with an overall lack of tension and excitement IMO.

2. If its supposed to be seconds then the movie didn't sell the urgency very well. Logan starts off the whole psychic attack episode out in front of the hotel and there is apparently enough time to make his way through the casino, take the elevator up, struggle through the hallway into the room, dispatch a half dozen goons, and then sedate Xavier.... all in a mere seconds I guess.

3. Sure, if it's in a relatively non-vital location. You can see on the BluRay that the guy was stabbed straight in the chest in a location that would have severed his spine and cut his windpipe as well as possibly puncturing one or both lungs and his heart. For a film that supposedly went for gritty realism, it's ridiculous to have him survive that.

4. Every film has flaws. I just thought that in Logan's case, the flaws were big enough to knock off a couple points.

I cared about the outcome and thought the choreography was well staged so Logan's action worked well enough for me.

You're assuming had Logan arrived a few minutes later he would've had plenty of time. As far as we know Logan didn't have a few minutes. The psychic blast could ended any second.

It's easy for knives to miss the spinal column, heart, windpipe, etc but if he was indeed stabbed in the chest he would've been incapacitated. So I guess it's not 100% realistic he would've been able to walk outside and die moments later.

I don't nitpick movies that exceed my expectations. So I guess we'll agree to disagree.

Chatrapati shivaji international airport is still the most beautiful airport I have seen. Not only mine but mine uncle too who has seen 100's of airports.

The new terminal is indeed very beautiful and huge. The old one was horrible.

Dubai airport while huge and amazing for shopping is not necessarily beautiful. Toronto's is much better. Singapore's changi and Suvarnabhumi are beautiful too

Hyderabad is way better than it, and so is Delhi's new terminal, just within India.

Delhi's new terminal (t3) is indeed very beautiful but hyderabad is not as good as mumbai sorry. It's still better than most others in India but not as good as the new one in Mumbai and I was surprised as to how small it was relative to the ones in delhi and mumbai.

Watching Lost City Of Z... Hunnam's come a long way since Undeclared.

that's pretty much the only movie i liked him in. as i said in my review though, that role with a greater actor could've been an all-timer, now it'll just have to settle for being Charlie Humdrum's best performance.

Not even on video?

Only when I want my kids to watch something.

But nowadays I just recommend them movies.

They're too old to sit down and watch an entire movie anytime I want them to. :sadben:

He's really, really good in it. Tom "Spider-man" Holland ain't half bad as his son either. But, yeah, someone like Joaquin Phoenix - given James Gray works with him regularly - would've done something otherworldly. Glad it was Hunnam and not Cumberbatch or Pitt, the other two that dropped out before he scored the lead role.

Less funny, less witty, less clever, less sharp, less entertaining, etc.

The upside down kiss was a movie moment that the MCU has never been able to match.

i didn't like holland in it. i think the character was just annoying to me. like he's whining at his dad ten seconds after the dude finds out he's been blinded. give your old man a break you little asshole.

See, this whole "top" thing is a hard thing to quantify...is that "best quality", "funniest", "deepest", "darkest", "used your favorite supers", "most surprising" "best villain", etc...

For example, I love Cap (and Batman), but am not a huge Iron Man or Thor fan since I like those characters in smaller doses...so I'd have all 3 of his movies above all of the Iron Man and Thor ones b/c I really, really like the entire concept of that hero, I really like the actor playing the role, I really like the stories they've fleshed out, etc...

I also like tight stories, so sprawling epics that get lost in themselves aren't my thing:)...

So, after all that, rather than a top 15, my top 6 (yes I tried 5, but missed one) would be (in no order)...and note, many of these only earned an A- from me, but I am very tough to earn an A from:)...

The Dark Knight

Deadpool

Wonder Woman (she and Cap have the best origin stories done so far)

Batman 89 for Jack Nicholson

Lego Batman (it has my favorite character ever, Dick Grayson, in a role he deserved rather than Batman and Robin's awfulness)

Captain America The First Avenger

Since 2013, there are around 8 to 9 movies that could potentially make the top 10.

I do think we should wait till 2020, to do the next one.

That could be a radically different ranking from the 2012 and 2013 lists.

I always get confused... Do things like Ghost World, American Splendor, History Of Violence, V For Vendetta, Persepolis, Snowpiercer, Ghost in the Shell, Akira, The Crow, Sin City, Dredd, Oldboy, etc. count? Can they be included?

I guess The Rocketeer would be on my list too as well as Men in Black and a few others.

I am really that type of person that can watch a thing multiple times but man, when a ticket costs 10€ I really dont think it is worth it.

I am living in a country under economoc crisis so no money to spend for not a good reason.

I remember seeing DH2 and Half Blood Prince twice and that was mainly because my friends couldnt come opening day.

Same here, tickets cost like 12-14€ here...The only movies I think I ever saw multiple times in the cinema were Titanic and Avatar. Only Cameron can make me do that lol.
