Barnack
And I'm not sure it play to someone that has not seen the original Blade Runner, it is referred quite a lot, that could hurt the legs, unlike a MadMax that really didn't need to have seen anything to work. Zakiyyah6
Even if it does have legs, they aren't going to be good enough for it to be a hit.
Cochofles
WTF? What happened? I woke up and saw that 36.5 million # and thought, "DAMN!!!! For Friday?????" My heart jumped! Then I realized that it was the weekend estimate. On the other hand: IT gets to 300 million!!!! YAY! Also...that Flatliners drop would be great all things considered. straggler
Blade Runner is an alltime classic. But it is a grim film. You appeciate the film being made, it is great to watch on TV, but would you really want to watch it in a theater? I think that applies to this one.

I didn’t watch the original or read spoilers and it was extremely easy to follow

A bit the other way around imo, (if you are not referencing the runtime), so much of the movie experience is on the visual/music that it is something to watch in theater and make maybe little sense on a regular tv, kind of movie that if you are to ever watch it, in theater not necessarily worth it on tv. That said I preferred gravity in 2D on a tv than 3d in theater, so who knows....

XO21
I really struggle to understand how the general audience loved the slow pace of something like the Revenant but it’s of the main complain about BR

Hopefully. 1. oh yeah, a tasteless teenager probably thinks that. 2. The ubber frontloadness of Friday already suggests a tepid overall multipler, lets put 100m DOM as the benchmark.
