Luke Cage and IronFist both had over 83% drop in social media interest (twitter and Instagram) between seasons.

Jessica Jones had a 50% drop.

Daredevil had a 27% drop from 1 to 2 and looking at 60% from 2 to 3.

IronFist and Defenders flopping killed the hype.

This article is nonsense. Tweets aren’t indicative of viewership.

There’s far more popular shows than several things on this list. If a show targets a small segment prone to constantly tweet about it than it’ll have a ton of tweets regardless of how many people are actually watching. The article doesn’t mention the size and scope of advertising campaigning or social media campaigning from season to season.

There’s a reason why the Source of this article is “Business Insider”.

Since Netflix doesn't release viewership numbers, social-media data is one of the best alternatives to finding out whether these shows have legs to stand on.

No. No it’s not.

Perhaps Netflix did stop going hard on marketing after Defenders flopped.

But you have no indication that it did. That’s why trying to figure out Netflix ratings is fools errand.

Danny Boyle's Frankenstein is playing at the university cinema on Halloween. Definitely going to check it out. I think its the version where Cumberbatch plays Victor... but is it worth going out of my way to see both versions?

That is obviously true, but here they are comparing show targeting very similar segment on the same platform and between their own season (season 1-2-3 of the same show, do target a very similar population).

Comparing Twtter volume of This is US, NCIS, Big Bang Theory versus Stranger Things would be ridiculous, of 2 season of the same show it make much more sense.

Has for speculation about cancelled Netflix Marvel show being about their popularity, are they not in a context that Marvel would be quitting the platform has fast as they contractually can to move to Disney streaming ?

I didn't know of this project until now but it's on my radar for sure. Looks like the actually good version of The Happening.

I think a blank screen would be a good version of the Happening.

Chris Pratt In Talks To Star In New Taylor Sheridan Movie....

(looking into the text in the hope to find some new tidbit about another project....) ....but why on earth the movie has in today's mistrust climate have to have this as description?

The plot is mostly under wraps, but it centers on a black ops team that goes after drug dealers who are being protected by the feds.
