The nominations for Game Of Thrones and Westworld were undeserved considering the freefall in quality in these shows, but not surprising given the Emmys took a long time to drop Modern Family when not even audiences could stand it anymore.

 

Kerry Washington and Scandal being snubbed also not surprising, as the character and the show didn't reinforce racist stereotypes. But the cultural impact of this groundbreaking show is way more important than any award.

Scandal got snubbed cause it sucked for seasons. Gave up on it during Season 4.

The series finale was legit terrible. It was like they forgot they were approaching their last episode and shat something out at the last minute.

They need to reconsider Westworld and This Is Us. Killing Eve was phenomenal.

It's kind of weird Kimmy Schmidt keeps getting into series without Kemper.

I'm surprised Bateman got into Drama Actor without Linney, especially after his comments the other month.

Not surprised there are 7 Drama Supporting Actress nominees.

Absolute bullshit Emmerich didn't get in for The Americans. The category was so empty this year!
