Looks like they're working to get The Irishman a standard theatrical release.

Scorsese wants a wide theatrical release for his more than $125 million gangster movie, and two industry sources with knowledge of talks between Netflix and theater owners tell The Hollywood Reporter that the streaming company is working to get him one. To do so, Netflix will have to expand the three-week art house theatrical window it pioneered amid controversy this awards season and will have to allow theater owners to report box office numbers, which the streamer did not do for Roma.

A cohort of Academy members led by directors branch governor Steven Spielberg is pushing for a rule change at the organization that would require a movie to have an exclusive theatrical window of at least four weeks to be eligible for major Oscars. "I hope all of us really continue to believe that the greatest contributions we can make as filmmakers is to give audiences the motion picture theatrical experience," Spielberg said a week before the Oscars while accepting an award from the Cinema Audio Society, in an apparent plea to his peers to resist Netflix's increasing power in Hollywood. "I'm a firm believer that movie theaters need to be around forever."

Four weeks. A four week window and I'm happy. Netflix gives this privilige to Scorsese and The Irishman, and I'm in it's corner. I'm all for it.

4 weeks feel like a dangerous precedent theater chain would never agree with, Amazon goes close to the usual 90 days windows.

Imagine second weekend/third weekend (likely the moment it end up in your city) going to see a movie in theater that will be on your already pay for Netflix in one or 2 week, may as well be day and date for most non-events movie.

A bit on the late considering the shift to streaming that sound like it remove the concept of profit and the notion of sharing it for a show.

I keep seeing people today who are not really there. :(

Someone shoved my shoulder in work. Someone was watching me every time I went to the toilet. Someone appeared in the road and I swerved my car.

What is happening to me 😕

So. Russian Doll. Who the hell is Natasha Lyonne, why was this my first time seeing her in anything, and how come she doesn't have about a dozen starring vehicles lined up right now

Pretty killer show for the most part. Four hours flew by

OITNB? American Pie?

Nope and nope. I took a look at her filmography just now and now I get why... yeesh. Her only movies I'm likely to see even after this are Everyone Says I Love You and Slums of Beverly Hills, both of which she did as a teenager. But hopefully RD leads to greater things cause she's crazy good in it. And I see she's in Honey Boy so that's cool.

If I were you, I would make an appointment with a mental health specialist.  I have personally seen similar symptoms in 2 people in the midst of a full blown undiagnosed mania (they were both later diagnosed as bipolar)...but that is not the only thing that might explain them.  And getting a true check and diagnosis would be the 1st step to helping you through this issue.  In fact, it may also later help with your issues with substances.  Many folks self-medicate using those substances.
