I just spent an hour on mydish.com trying to get to the on demand channels.  What a joke.  I finally logged off and went to pay per view and there it was, the video I want to watch tonight.   What a pain!  This movie, the hustle, better be worth it.  😀

Also, what a bizarre situation with Angelo Rodrigues. He is on a really bad state. I think he might actually die and even if he survives we wont hear of him at least until late 2020. He was operated (is this how you say it in english?) 3 times in 48 hours and all were successfull but his kidneys and heart are failing.

Palmeirim is still the best hope TVI has, tbh. Mendes isn't walking away without a shit ton of cash and The Price Is Right. They could try Filomena Cautela too, but I doubt she would take the offer cause 5 Para a Meia-Noite is her game.

 

TVI Memó(R)ia is the real name of the channel atm. I honestly don't get that idea, it's just baffling. Nearly as much as Mar de Paixão.

 

I read up on Sapo that the whole thing of his kidneys failing was a lie, so who knows, but either way, hope it serves everyone a lesson about what will roids do to you. Seriously, the guy looked more jacked than the fucking Hulk. (And BTW, it's "had surgery", not "be operated" 😅)

57% of the ones planning to subscribe want to cancel at least one other service. Acc that survey they asked 1000 customers, out of those 43% plan to subscribe at Disney+.(not sure what to think about that number as in my experience people who do not wan to buy,... with something are less likely willing to participate)

The internal forecast was 20-30m subscribers till 2024 = 20-30% of the broadband households.

Globally they seem to aim for 60-90m subscribers (till when? Maybe final?)

They speak about Netflix having 152m subscribers, but also about growing competition.

The survey was done before the D23 event.

 

79% said they heard about Disney+. 67% think they will likely add it without cancelling something else.

 

Out of the ones planing to cancel something the most aim for Pay-TV, 33% other Video services, and only 19% other ‚Premier linear networks‘ like HBO or Showtime.

 

An earlier survey by the Sam company (?) found only 13% were willing to pay for more than 3 OTT services at once.

You are so right.  I used to write for our Disney website.  Now I am a Disney cruise specialist.  I am a Disney collector and Disney lover.  My foot is up, being iced and looking forward to getting a cast tomorrow.  Today is only a one pain killer day.
