So THE STAR did 10m...that's got to make it a success. Only 20m prod budget. Next week it should mint money too. Don't know how much it will do OS but with auxiliary revenue it should cover all it's expenses.

I saw JL. I enjoyed it. Similar criticisms to most I guess. Looked pretty bad in parts especially the end with the CG work. I enjoyed the humor. I think if someone has an issue with jokes about WW being hot or whatnot (you know the scene), it’s time to lighten up. If you want to actually be a social justice warrior, you’re not the preordained defender of women - that would make you a sexist patriarch after all - so lighten up and enjoy a joke. My GF thought it was hilarious, so for guys to bitch about some of these things is pathetic. It’s laughable, really.

I wish DC had made standalone movies for Flash and Cyborg and Aquaman or at least a few of them because this thing seemed rushed. The villain was also super lame and the whole thing seemed like a knockoff of Avengers in every respect. Still, it was fun enough. I hope it does better as the days go by - it doesn’t deserve a poor run. I am looking forward to what DC offers next even if the results are uneven, they’re not so bad as to be disastrous.

I don’t see JL dropping that much at all of its Sunday estimate holds.

W.O.M seem much better than BVS this go around.

That Sunday estimate isn't going to hold. WB is just trying to get it as close to 100m as possible.

RTH already said it fell about 30% on Sunday.

Just now, Boxofficerules said:

Hopefully it can hit $100 million, that would be a bit of a win and not the major flop someone here said it was.

yeah, and it's already a major win. also considering the global weekend was 5.17m (88+ cume), it will at least get to 95+ if not 100. out-performed all expectations and the prod budget is only 20.
