I see Kings and Disobedience will be released that weekend as well. Probably dumps, the both of them, which is a shame since I thought Disobedience looked interesting and I really like both Rachels.

Anyway, I'm curious to see what they will make and how wide they are going. Not much for both counts is my guess.

Disobedience is probably just starting off in NY/LA; it'd be awesome if that expanded into nearly 1k theaters

I think Disobedience is getting a semi-wide push, or at least getting released in metropolitan areas. It's supposed to open at the art cinema here on the 27th.

Hollywood Reporter is saying $9.5M is looking like the target for Rampage. Yikes.

https://www.hollywoodreporter.com/heat-vision/weekend-box-office-dwayne-johnsons-rampage-earns-24m-thursday-previews-1102373

9.5 would be a 3.96x multi of the previews for is OD

Blade Runner: 3.15

Warcraft: 3.452

TR: 4.278

Pacific Rim Up: 4.396

John wick 2: 4.984

Pitch Perfect 3: 5.06

San andreas: 5.85

Feel a bit low for a non sequel.

If that translate into a worst than TR (11.25x)/PR (11.96) preview to opening weekend multi it could do around 10.6x is previews = 25.44

True friday of 7.1

TR: 6.884 (23.633m OW)

Rampage: 7.1

PrU: 7.98 (28.117m OW)

Good cinemascore and possibly playing family heavier than those could help it being more Saturday/Sunday heavy than them.

Rampage only did our equivalent of 6.8M Friday at my theatre... no previews so this is a true Friday number. Granted, San Andreas went from 8.2M Friday to a 32M weekend here so maybe it could hold well through the weekend..?

Indian Horse did well here. Our equivalent of a  7M Friday

$9m is way too low for Rampage.

I think it is going to do more like $12m for Rampage and around $11m for Quiet Place.

Thanks Empire.  Do you have any info on Truth or Dare?

Finally an update from DL

http://deadline.com/2018/04/dwayne-johnson-rampage-box-office-weekend-a-quiet-place-1202363694/

Rampage:  11.1

AQP:  10.2

Truth or Dare:  8

RPO:  2.8

I don't understand why RPO dropped so much this weekend after such a small drop last weekend.

Not a great Friday for BP. Going to need some serious juice from IW if it wants to hit 700.

It has the best friday and the weekend hold amongst the top 10. Everything fell hard this week and it was expected after Easter weekend/spring break holiday ended. I think BP had a better than expected drop as I and many others were expecting a drop in the 40’s.

40% weekly drops from here on out gets BP to 685 at least. Whereas 30% drops will get it to 692. So if it wants to get to 700 its gonna need a boost from IW, plus a re-expansion in may and during Memorial day weekend.

At this point I think a finish in the 685-690 region is likely
