That's almost twice what mother! opened to, and that had TV spots and an outdoor billboard/bus ad campaign.

With low budget wide release horror the biggest expense isn't the budget it's the marketing by a substantial multiple.

Edit: Hereditary had a better weekend multiplier than It Comes at Night. If it can get ICAN’s overall multiplier, it’ll pass $30m.

Do we have any datadumps of trailer views against film performance, do we have a reason to care about youtube views of a trailer? The Force Awakens has half as many views as IW even though TFA was released 3 years ago. Yet here we are with IW losing to TFA, what's the point of you tube trailer count again?
