I'm glad people still love the original despite this social climate where you can get called a mysoginist for sneezing the wrong way. Because it does have somewhat antiquated views of female sexuality. I mean he kills his sister for being a slut then gets out 20 years later and kills more sluts. Virgin survives.

Why not get Gus Van Sant back too while we're at it? He'll get it right this time, just do the same movie shot for shot

 

Apologize if that comes across as dipshitty from my part, but.... I don't think that, if a Psycho revival is ever to happen (not that I think it should, but Universal might just try everything in the wake of Halloween), anyone attached to the '98 remake should not be allowed to come back. Vaughn was actually part of the problem as I found him horribly miscast, and I think he's a very good actor.

Michael coming back to take the horror icon crown after "Freddy V Jason" did solid numbers 15 years back.  The Jason reboot  almost 10 years ago did pretty well too .  Nostalgia Bump incoming.  Plus Halloween is around the corner.

I don't care about horror at all but it's nice that this is doing so well. I like seeing the box office come alive.
