Halloween is gonna be crazy profitable even before its namesake holiday gets here. Most impressive.

Great hold for A Star is Born again. I can still see it making a play for $200M if it gets close enough. Venom looks to reach around $215M.

The Hate U Give had a fine wide expansion. WOM is likely gonna result in a small drop next weekend.

Some good holds among the holdovers. First Man's drop is a little heavier than I thought but not overly surprising given the film's somewhat glacial pace.

The Old Man and the Gun expanded well enough. The Sisters Brothers, though...did not. Beautiful Boy's numbers so far indicate a sub-$5M total.

Mid90s got off to a great start but probably won't do so hot next weekend when it goes much wider. Soft-ish numbers for Can You Ever Forgive Me? but we'll see how it expands.

Looking at China numbers and a Bollywood movie didn’t drop at all in its second weekend and has a 9.4 audience rating. Smallfoot has a 9.3 audience rating. Both should hopefully have long runs.

Smallfoot actually opened to 2M Yuan and on Sunday did 12M Yuan.

Smallfoot is looking at 110+ OS and easily above 80 Dom (needs to add just 2.1x this weekend). Hoping it gets to 200 WW.

You mean 200m+ WW, right??

In any case, WAG just can't catch a break with their original animations. Even the good ones fail to make a big dent at the WW BO. They still have a long way to go to catch up with the likes of SPA/DWA.

isnt it like 1pm in usa? how can they know the sunday grosses, the screenings havent happened yet lmao

All the BO sites use historical evidence based on genre, release date, demographic split etc to project the Sunday number.

It's done great so far against massive (but not direct) competition. Next weekend is dead so that will help. But Behomian Rapesody will probably cut its weekend gross in half.

I don't think so. ASIB is a romance. yes, it has music but it's different from BR. Drop will likely be bigger but not catastrophic.
