One man's artistic lunacy is another man's poetic genius.  There is very, very little to critique about Coppola's artistic career compared to most of his contemporaries.  He always aimed high and worked with dignity, even under "work for hire" circumstances.  No matter what happens with this movie, he will be remembered as one of the greats -- but yes, it would be amazing to see him go out on this kind of impactful high impact, if this movie "works."

I think you can note that he really dropped off after Apocalypse Now.

Depends on the finished movie. Coppola is known for troubled productions which he managed to carry to masterpiece films.

 the last good film he did was 30 years ago. Looking at how the production is going and knowing how Hollywood treats VFX Teams.... Im very worried about the end result
