Endgame going to make 900 million dollars, and the little insecure morons on this board try to take potshots at the film bc it won’t pass TFA. Gmafb. 3 hours long and the film is raking in the dough.

If it were 2:15 minutes, TFA domestic total would be history. ‘Concern trolling’ is getting out of hand.

Sorry buddy but nothing in this statement is actually true.

What. The. Fuck. Is. This. Thread.

When I think it can't get any worse, it just proves me wrong. Holy shit.

Just imagine if tomorrow has a big drop. Dumpster fire..let's hope for a generic slightly better than normal drop. Maybe that will help.

Absolutely not true 3x as many troll comments from avatar/Titanic folks. I don't excuse the marvel fanboys but the avatar Stan's are easily the worst. Cult like imo.

you are both right, one goup was worse in wording, the other seemed a bit more poking / pinging and so on

Bad behavior from one group of fanboys doesn't excuse bad behavior from another.  I saw just as many people provoking Cameron/Titanic fans in that thread as I saw Cameron fans spamming the thread.  90% of drama/arguments on these forums could be avoided if people just thought twice before they decided to post something.  If you see something that bothers you or breaks the rules, then ignore/report it and move on with your life.  If everyone here did that, then none of this would be an issue.

didnt you get banned for shitposting

(lol I am just adding to the dumpster fire of this thread, I jest)

I got threadbanned for an hour before it was revoked and turned into a warning, yes.  That was also two weeks ago, not one week, and didn't involve fanboy arguments (it was joke posts).  I fail to see the relevance this has.

Some fodder to read instead to poke?

https://www.the-numbers.com/news/238850830-Daily-Box-Office-Tracking-A-Quiet-Tuesday-for-Endgame

Quote

Tuesday didn’t change Avengers: Endgame box office much. It earned $12.5 million domestically for a total of $644.5 million after just 12 days of release. Its remains in third place in the M.C.U. and seventh place on the all-time domestic chart. However, while it didn’t move up on Tuesday, it won’t be long before it starts climbing both of those charts.

Internationally, the film added $21.7 million on Tuesday for totals of $1.63 billion internationally and $2.27 billion worldwide. The film remains in second place on both of those charts. The film is just over $400 million behind Avatar internationally and just under $500 million behind that film worldwide, so it is going to take a while for it to reach first place. That said, unless the film falls to under $150 million worldwide over the coming weekend, it should reach first place on both charts relatively soon.

China was again Avengers: Endgame’s biggest international market on Tuesday, scoring $4.3 million for a running tally of $585.4 million. The film did earn more than $1 million in a number of other international markets, starting with Brazil at $1.7 million for the day and $61.2 million so far. France was next with $1.3 million on Tuesday and $45.3 million in total. South Korea was just behind with $1.2 million / $88.3 million. The U.K. and India both earned $1.1 million, while their running tallies sit at $96.6 million and $54.6 million respectively. Finally, Mexico managed $1.0 million on Tuesday giving it a total of $63.8 million so far.

Someone take over please (Lionsgate is missing...), I have to help someone here

why you take everything personal ? not every comment is about you, you know

I think you need to ask yourself that very question.  Your overreaction to every little thing in every thread you post in is ridiculous.

me, into ww finals, do not look too closely into pattern, so please understand this more as a question than anything else:

The real Big final making releases, usually more around summer and Christmas? Older high earners total ohter pattern (like way longer in the cinemas.... = not comparable)

E.g. BP had the help a bit of A IW coming after it = helped, as A EG helped CM too to a degree

Its a movie with an unusual long running time. I wont rewatch it, as I am not happy with the movie, but if I'd rewatch it, I doubt I'd have the time to watch it during weekdays outside of every holidays or...

I mean, for a first time 'I have to see this fast', yes, for that I'll find the time. But for a repeat?

CBM more tending to shorter legs as e.g. Greek Wedding.... too

You do have full school time, or??

How many / which movies do you compare that too?

Any of those outside the general holiday times? Christmas? Over the average run time too?

I feel that there s not really a lot to compare to, hence my question.

You have a good point. There aren't many films that are as big box office wise while being comparable in terms of length, structure etc.

I guess we have to accept that this film is breaking all the rules, not just opening weekend rules.

? ah ok ? however its a different kind i dont overreact in general like at all , but this shit has become ridiculous from both sides  and so are the meltdowns that some other do so my overreaction is more against that if anything , is it wrong ? maybe/yes  , have they become annoying (some of them) hell yeah , could i ignore them ? yes i tried but i cant do it anymore, try to see the other point of you before you judge , maybe i and some other are just tired with all this shit and as many people have the right to do this things so i have the right to call their bullshit ,also you said this like i do this in every thread and pardon me but i dont recall that

Someone has A LOT of Disney stock! lol. I loved Endgame, by the way, very happy to see it doing well. I don't see what's wrong with calling the Tuesday increase unexpectedly small, though. It seems like every time anyone wants to analyze the numbers -- which is what this forum is for (and shitposting? I guess?) -- then someone else has to chime in, "Well gee there's never been a movie like this before ever, so you can't analyze anything." There have been movies like this, yes, just because a movie is big doesn't magically mean it's different from everything. History is full of movies that opened huge and tapered off quickly, which is basically exactly what Endgame has done. It doesn't make its total gross any less amazing -- it doesn't matter how fast you make your money or what your multiple is, and in fact studios would rather make the money faster. Not only is it returned quickly, which is great for investors, but their split of the box office goes down after numerous weeks, so why would they care about "legs" if they can just make a buttload of cash in the first 2 weeks?!

Excuse me but if people thought twice before they said something, the internet would be nothing but porn.
