Yeah. This for me too. 

 

Impossible 6 has the benefit of a much more robust budget so they can deliver action of every sort. Helps keep it fresh. Wick 3 stretches as far as it can and does it well. But, as it stretches on and on and, yeah, we know where it's going. 

 

Best action beats come early. They're incredible though. Wick 3 gave me the sane feeling as Night Comes For Us. Just wore me down. The beats in the last act were maybe my least favorite of all three Wicks.

 

Hopefully if there's another Wick it can vary the action beats more. Director can take on new challenges and even more bonkers stunt choreography.

 

That first hour of Wick 3 though. Perfection.

Great number for WICK3. 4th biggest OD so far this year behind EG, CM and Us.

Few would have thought until recently that it could beat SHAZAM's and PIKA's ow.

Problem for pikachu was it lost all premium screens. So average ticket price will go down. Let us how the saturday behaves. It could play well with families. Plus if canadians really liked it, I could see good sunday drop as well. Next weekend it will start to shed screens but will benefit from long weekend.

 

It definitely under performed compared to even conservative predictions of couple of weeks ago 🙂

 

BTW what were BO Pro's predictions for Pikachu?

While Detective Pikachu trailers were great I think most people who saw them thought oh that’s cute and went about their business.
