That "#WhateverItTakes" mantra is so weird. Whatever it takes to... help a multi-billion conglomerate film break another record? I can get wanting it to take the record, but phrasing it like it's an obligation for the fans feels pretty gross.

Just did a quick search of "Call Me By Your Name straight actors" and these were on the first page of results, there were many more. I definitely remember the "how gay is it really" topic being a discussion during that Oscar season. Perhaps Scarlett's comments are getting the amount of attention they have because she is way more famous than anybody in CMBYN?

In other news lolol Goop, you would think after the whole thing with her not realizing she was in Spider-Man Homecoming, that she would try to keep up a little more for future promotional appearances.

She probably sells enough magical vagina stones, vampire repellents, coffee enemas, condom dispensers, 18k dumbells, camel milk home delivery and what not to care about these things :P

PS: Every single one of the things I mentioned above is actually sold by Goop

Far from assured actually. Each week is going to continue to drop. Once it's not making money, theaters will pull the film. Everyone that's wanted to see it has just about seen it.

Easily assured. Disney will keep it around. Numbers will continue to roll in OS slowly but surely. Probably by the end of the month.

Spiderverse is great but it's an animated film, doesn't count. I love Incredibles and Incredibles 2 but they are in the same category as TLK, Aladdin, Little Mermaid, Land Before Time etc.

Funnier than the damn movie. I haven't fallen asleep in the cinema in a looong time, but this did the trick.

But... but... Dave Bautista only does good movies! He said so himself!

Should have done at least The Shallows numbers. Paramount fails again

I don’t think the actress is as recognisable as Blake Lively. Also doesn’t have the social media reach she does.

Also Crawl is coming in after so many horror films. And Paramount held back on the advertising for some reason.

  10. Despicable Me 3 (2017) — 72.4 million (3.65)
