Not surprised by the great early reaction. Critic does look like they prefer a more “standard” marvel movie than something that try to “deconstruct”.

Movie sounds fine but nothing amazing. Also Waititi is writing this one while he only directed Ragnarok. We will see if him in full control will be GA appealing

Yeah I'm thinking in the 80s on RT and 60s on MC, but with some hard dissenters, particularly around the twitter film people types (along with the rise of anti Taika Waititi stuff)

There is currently a review embargo for “Thor: Love and Thunder,” but, as you can imagine from the title, I far prefered ‘Ragnarok.’ This sequel is flat, unfocused and messy. Natalie Portman’s performance is actually leagues above everyone else’s here. There are some fun cameos though, including a hilarious Matt Damon and a revered actor, who I will not name, playing a fat Zeus.

Disney is doing way more screenings for this movie than for some recently MCU titles. 

 

I'm pretty sure i saw easily over 100 "professional critics" reactions for this, i don't remember the last time this happened before review embargo drops. 

 

Anyways, still looks like high 80's - low 90's on RT. Vast majority liked pretty much, some people was more mixed but still liked overall, with very few dislikes.
