They should do it more often. Even a few times a year. Krissykins
Top 5 down only 17.9%. To be honest, I was expecting some increases. Great holds for Uncharted and Sing 2, and a nice opening for The Duke with £990k. Sing 2 the third biggest film of the pandemic, albeit with no restrictions at all. The question now is did Sing 2 Overpeform here or Underperform in the US?
Cooper Legion
95.4??? I know it had cineworld day and Batman will hurt, but it’s not gonna need much expansion for NTTD at this rate.

I think it’s clear now that it underperformed a bit in the US. It’ll have quadrupled Encanto’s total gross by next weekend.

charlie Jatinder
What happened last weekdays. The half term was last to last week right? SM added 750k+ during weekdays after 650k weekend
charlie Jatinder
I think Sony should do promotions/discount to get it over 100M. 3M is very less to let it go. Also I wonder if there is some degree of unreported gross in UK. Like in US, comScore gross is around 98-99% of actual box office reported by Studio of most films as there are some 100-200 theaters that don't report data to comScore. Don't think @RthHome is online, but when he come, will like to hear from him. Edited March 1, 2022 by charlie Jatinder

Jonwo
The long running time might hamper The Batman a little over Joker but it has literally no competition throughout March. April in comparison is rammed with movies.

At my other local it has a 14.50 showing and an 8pm. 37 showtimes for The Batman, so not at No Time to Die or No Way Home level, they had 40-44 each. Unsurprisingly, Cyrano down to one 12pm showing and Studio 666 gone. Edited March 2, 2022 by Krissykins

NWH and NTTD started Friday with 12 peak time screens a piece, Batman on the other hand has 10 at my local. Doesn't look like it'll need more either. Dandeak2000
On Saturday, The Batman has 23 showings in my local 12 screener. with peak being on 8 screens at once. It also has 9 midnight showings on Friday bringing that to 32 showings for opening day. Death on the Nile, Cyrano and Studio 666 down to one showing each. Dog and The Duke have 2. Sing 2 has 3 and Uncharted has 6. There are also showings of The Godfather (1972) and The Godfather 2 (1974) sprinkled in throughout the week,
