cannastop
I guess you'll have to say Japanese Black rain if you want it to be counted that way.

terrestrial
For me its always a bit difficult to find many titles per year as I cant watch animated without feeling queasy, and do not like certain genres (romance, comedy if its too 'too..', most of horror as I understand the definition of the genre, seems not to be the same as a lot here do) and not knowing all titles released then as not all got released here too. So my provisional top 30 (might change a bit still) - myy 3rd ranked list here at BOT 😉 Quote My Left Foot Black Rain (Japan) = don't watch it if feeling down already or if being sensitive, e.g. the beginning is extreme and very realistic Camille Claudel sex, lies and videotape Henry V For All Mankind The Abyss Glory Batman When Harry Met Sally Casualties of War Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade Lethal Weapon 2 (Danny Glover in the embassy had me in tears from laughter. And I totally get his I am too old for that shit now 😉 - its hilarious in parts, see toilet scene and its conclusion, car vs house, and sombre in others, see the reason for car vs house) Driving Miss Daisy (would be higher if the story would be more interesting to me) Johnny Handsome (in my POV underrated) Field of Dreams Romero Sea of Love Always (Audrey Hepburn was already very ill, her last role) Next of Kin (in my POV underrated, plus it has Andreas Katsulas in it) Blind Fury (in my POV underrated) Road House (the band…. watched it e.g. also for Jeff Healey 😉 ) Licence to Kill (Dalton didn't do it for me as 007) The Fabulous Baker Boys (loved some details, didn't like all story details) New York Stories (segment Life Lessons) The War of the Roses (not a fan of the genre, but...) Great Balls of Fire! (I think its ratings are ~ 0.5 lower as deserved as the person its about is not well liked by many, but it had it problems too) Farewell to the King (love-hate) Black Rain (US) (love-hate) which to pick as #30: Tango & Cash (I like it as it made me laugh a lot. Probably at moments it wasn't intended to also, some roll-eyes... I've seen the German version.) Ghostbusters 2 (some details were terrible even for a comedy like that) Edited August 5, 2019 by terrestrial missing word

I know, that was the reason I am so happy IMDb is also allowed. It did get released in dom, but BOM dos not list it at all, I tried different versions of the title, nothing shows. Do not understand that, see my post about awards, renowned film festivals,....

Nicholson was seriously miscast as his Joker was annoying instead of being menacing, disturbing or even campy. Keaton was fine as Bruce but not enough to save the film, which was painfully claustrophobic. 1
