a2k
Woah! -32.3% for Joker. Columbus Day observance on 9th Oct this year. So Thu drop will be bigger than anticipated. Yesterday, many schools were closed in observance of the Jewish high holiday of Yom Kippur. 2
a2k
Hefty 25% Thu drop would give Joker 7m. +90%, +35%, -25% gives it a 45 weekend. If Thu ends up being 7.5 (-20%) then those same FSS holds give a 48 weekend.

Krissykins
Great Wednesday hold. I expected 40% like It 2 and Hustlers, wasn’t aware of the holiday. Nice.

EarlyDeadlinePredictions
Must be a holiday because that Abominable number doesnt make sense otherwise. Anyways I think great WOM can help Joker from dropping too much thursday.

I would guess 40-45% would be the real value drop similar to IT2's 1st week (+46.1%, -43.5%). Joker was +43.4% so expected closer to 40% Wed drop. AndyK
Saw Joker last night, car park full, theatre as full as for Endgame. UK is lapping this up in a way I wouldn't expect for a DC film, especially for something so disturbing. Anyway, 11/10, phenomenal movie, give it all the awards. 8

cdsacken
Incredible Wednesday number. 275 train for now but easy to see 300 if it maintains this after competition comes. Just unreal.
keysersoze123
Thank you folks. It seems there was some boost yesterday. Otherwise there is no way Wednesday would be on par with Monday. It will drop hard today as well worse than normal thursday. But let us see how friday is. Biggest change is it has fewer shows at MTC 3125 vs 3631 yesterday. That is a big change. I guess losing imax/plf(some of them) to Gemini Man will be the biggest impact. Edited October 10, 2019 by keysersoze123 6 1
