Escape Room IM gives 14.2 mil. This should have a worse IM with the horrific WoM. I think 12 mil weekend sounds about right.

It’s a horror movie I’m not really looking at reviews or WOM. That’s an alright preview number.

wasn't this movie remade years ago? I'm sure I saw Grudge on TV and TV guide said it was a remake.

MUCH better number than I was expecting. Gurantees at least 10M but WOM is so horribly toxic that I’ll be surprised at anything above 12M

The 2004 movie was a remake of the 2002 Japanese one, yeah. Not sure what they call this since it takes place at the same time as the 2004 movie.

JUM looks very optimistic overall (-26% from 35.25 last weekend) but FSS holds aren't that optimistic.

I'm on reddit now and I've read posts of many people comparing the ending to The Devil Inside. This is definitely not good.
