lorddemaxus
I hate Vince Vaughn but I've liked Kathryn Newton in everything I've seen her in so far and this looks like a really fun horror flick. Shit release date though. Horror movies almost never do well in the holidays and will do even worse with the pandemic.
sabrecmc
This looks really fun. I liked HDD, and this seems to have the same kind of horror comedy vibe. The concept is brilliant. Probably won't go to the theater to see it or anything, but would pay to stream it if they go that way.
Blaze Heatnix
This is the kind of movie that should have been released, instead of a freaking 250 million budgeted flick. Besides, it won't need to make 500 million worldwide to be profitable.
Boxofficerules
I very cautious of anything Blumhouse releases after that awful Black Christmas remake they did.
CoolioD1
this looks great. it feels like one of those no duh concepts that you can't believe nobody has done yet. love that they got vv in it too.

Completely agree. Makes me kick myself thinking why didn't I think of that before lmao. This looks really fun. I'll definitely watch it. They also got Fantasy Island, which was horrible. They're usually hit or miss, but this Freaky movie looks like fun like Happy Death Day. Agree, but they probably wanted to release it on a Friday the 13th, and the last one before this November was in...March.
SnokesLegs
Looks great! After how delightfully bonkers Christopher Landon went with HDD2U I’m totally in for this. It’ll be interesting to see how Universal handle the release, it could be perfect for that 17 day theatrical release at AMC followed by PVOD strategy. filmlover
This looks miles better than those last couple of Blumhouse duds, in large part because it seems to be having fun with the premise like Happy Death Day did by poking fun at the tropes of serial killer movies ("You're black! I'm gay! We are so dead!" ).
chasmmi
I'm very in for this

Since “Black Christmas”, they’ve released both The Invisible Man & The Hunt, two of my favourite films of the year.

He's a good actor and hilarious when he wants to be
Cap
This honestly looks like the best thing I’ve seen in ages. This looks silly, and stupid, and delightful.

He was great in Hacksaw Ridge, Brawl in Cell Block 99 and Dragged Across Concrete, and he tried his best with an abysmal script in True Detective Season 2. He got typecast in the early 2000’s as the cocky schlub character, but now that he’s breaking out of those kind of roles he’s proving himself. tree
Since True Detective he's kind of going through a Vince Vaughnaissance - now that he's done more dramatic stuff he's done some interesting and strong performances. Shout out for him as the coach in Fighting with my Family.

Taylor
‘Freaky’ - Rated R for strong bloody horror violence, sexual content, and language throughout.
