Boxofficerules
“After swapping bodies with a deranged serial killer, a young girl in high school discovers she has less than 24 hours before the change becomes permanent.” I hope there isn’t a topic about this yet, the director says it’s coming out this year.
DAJK
This sounds fun. The HDD movies were a blast, I hope this is another tongue-in-cheek slasher deconstruction.
The Horror of Lucas Films
Can't wait for it, Landon is really creative and knows how to make the conventions of the genre fresh. I also hope he will cast Jessica Rothe again. 1

I think they’ve finished filming this. I’d say the Coronavirus has scrapped whatever plans they had for this. Doubt it will come out this year. I’d say the trailer was supposed to come out with that 5th Purge Movie.

ViewerAnon
Is this still untitled? It test screened under the title FREAKY FRIDAY THE 13TH right before California shut down.

I think that’s just a placeholder title right now, I’m not sure if you’d get away with it that title rights wise. Any idea how the screening went? Taylor
Titled Freaky, out Friday, November 13th.

Gotta love a good marketing gimmick. Horror is probably the only genre that can actually survive in movie theaters in the current climate anyway. So this is basically "Blumhouse presents Vince Vaughn doing his best Jack Black in the Jumanji movies." Could be fun.
SchumacherFTW
Haven't watched the trailer, but I'm sold on the concept alone. Can't wait.
Krissykins
Great concept, great director, great gimmick with the title and date. At $6.5m, it could do decently, then ever better than usual on home media.
OncomingStorm93
I've never caught a Blumhouse film (was Get Out from Blumhouse? If so, that's the only one), but I am absolutely 100% sold on this... when I can catch it at home. Ace trailer.
