Critics panned uncharted and it wildly outperformed expectations set before reviews even came out Yeh, the certified fresh logo is certainly used a lot in marketing. It’s plastered all over digital release artwork and DVD/Blu-ray covers now. The RT score is also including on some streaming stores now too. Rotten Tomatoes is pretty mainstream now. But it holds extra power over superhero films. I think it’s used a lot in fan wars and trolling within that type of online audience.

grim22
91% after 119 reviews with 108 positive and 11 negative. Should be Certified Fresh any second now. Big win for Matt Reeves for sure. 1

AniNate
RT definitely matters as a promotional tool, and I'm sure a franchise that imo is dealing with some franchise fatigue like Batman will benefit a lot from renewed critical praise. It's certainly more convincing than random dubiously-source pullquotes like "ACTION-PACKED!" or "BATMAN IS BACK!" Maggie
WB knew they had a great film on their hands. Why this weird strategy with the release of reviews?

Fox20
Top critics are very divided in this one, but either way this seems like the kind of movie Batman fans will love regardless. Edited February 28, 2022 by Fox20

ThomasNicole
91% with an excellent 8.2 average based on 120 reviews Should end up with 88-92% and 7.8-8.0 average, definitely one of the best reviewed SH movies.

Cmasterclay
Reviews get me personally really excited because it sounds like absolutely my jam (all my favorite movies ever!) but based on that Top Critics score falling this is probably heading to low 80s/high 70s RT. SchumacherFTW
There we go, a high RT score and a 3hr run time, I'm confident that without seeing the film that is basically prefect

I don’t know about you, but this particular time in history does not seem like the moment for a movie that will leave you a) miserable and b) wondering why nobody in Gotham City seems to have heard of light bulbs."
