BTW there was no deal for a official ,legal release of The Batman In Russia. That seems to have been a rumor. There have been some theaters who have had "Pirate" showings, but no official release.

IMHO Putin wants to cut off Russia from the "Corruption" of Western Pop Culture as much as  possible, Excepr for illegal showings and video, Russia will reamin closed to Western Movie for along time...probably until Putin has croaked.
