I don't think Miller is in contact with their people. I'm beginning to think they don't even have people.

They are not in contact with his lawyer, or they have the worst lawyer on earth, because any competent attorney would tell them to ignore a court order .or dodging one....is a very stupid thing to do.

WB isn't likely to scrap this movie.  The much more likely move is that Ezra will calm down in the next few months and then by the time it releases they will not include him in much if not all the promotion and all the supporting actors will be on the promotional tour.

They will act like Ezra doesn't exist, the movie will release and make lots of money and WB will move on.

or it keeps getting worse. More legal issues keep arising, and they can’t have any promotion for the film at all since pretty much every question will be about Ezra. People said it would die down before but it’s only gotten bigger

Like most everyone before him, he will calm down.  WB isn't throwing $200m into the garbage over Ezra fucking Miller.

Much like how 20th Century Studios pretty much glossed over Armie Hammer in Death on the Nile.

How do you promote a movie when the lead actor isn't there? Its easy to hide an Amber Heard or Armie Hammer who are side acts

WB is lucky in that they have another compelling angle they can market that has nothing to do with the lead actor- two iconic Batmen, the intro of Supergirl into the DCEU, and this is the movie that resets everything. Miller may wind up being relegated to the role of a plot device in their own movie.

Do interviews really do much for movies anyway as much as we like to think they do? The only people watching or reading them are people who probably would have awareness of the movie's existence and release anyway.

If a quote is taken out of context for a headline, that attention can not be good

Heres how they can safe this movie:

The Flash is fast. Everyone know the Flash is fast. Just tell the audience in a hectic voice-over at the beginning that The Flash moves so fast that you cant see him and edit Ezra out of the movie.

Easy.

How do you release a movie about the Flash without promoting the Flash?

The movie is 12 months away.

There's no reason to believe Ezra is gonna stop being a moron in those 12 months and the more shit they do the greater the chance that national news/talk shows end up covering it and then you have a real issue

And there's no reason to really panic or do anything else at this point, from the studio's perspective.  They have 12 months...and they could always delay it again, if need be.  But sooner or later it will emerge, and yes, even if they reshoot an ending, Miller will still be in it.
