FilmBuff
Damn, The Hunger Games is playing a lot like Twilight and Harry Potter. I was hoping for a 70+ million weekend.
Gopher
On the upside, my Monday projections have been scary accurate all week. I projected 19m for today, and sure enough...

CJohn
It was expected. C'mon, this was bound to be like Twilight/Potter.
Hatebox
It was always going to be frontloaded. As mediocre as the other two openings were, they still combined to make 50m worth of competition for the young males and family demos. baumer
She's not a bitch. She even said she was getting conflicting reports. She gets them from the studios and from Rentrak, she then extrapolates. It doesn't make her crazy, it's just some of the extrapolations are hard to master.
Heretic
Still, Mid 60s was expected and still good. 350m is locked.
baumer
Wrath's number is a good lesson for The Amzaing Spiderman. A poor movie will affect the next one. TASM will be no different. As for THG, i think it will go like this:1925.51761.5 60% drop

Incarnadine
19 is still solid. Loss of IMAX and 2 new openers had to have some effect. I was hoping 20/65 so 19/62 (ish) is still a good number. As long as it is over $250 mil by the end of the weekend I'll be happy.

Noctis
1. I was reading this thread yesterday and literally could not believe a 24m Friday. Seemed bizarre.2. I'm happy for its success and couldn't give a rat's fart when it beats DH2 (worldwide...not even remotely close)3. 24m to 18.9m...wow, talk about an enormous downgrade. B J
Less than 200....about 185-195.3D assistance should keep it over 200m, though the percentage drop will be massive indeed. Clash to Wrath is the first 3D to 3D drop we have seen, luckily for Spidey tit wont look quite so bad as it actually is, thanks to spiey-3 lacking 3D. Moviefanatic
Less than 200....about 185-195.Interesting. I think it will finish around 225-230 million only because it has the July 4th weekend. All I know is that it better make as much as it can before it gets destroyed by Batman.
