Saw the epic trailer. Wow, looks even better than hoped. Mainly Matt Damon and Cillian is in it and RDJ has a line in the end. There Will be Blood vibes or shall I say There Will Be Bomb.

Really? I figured they'd make it theatrically exclusive for a bit here but I guess that's just not realistic nowadays.

The normal trailer that got leaked was better than IMAX trailer. But I guess it was cool watching it full frame. Honestly, something about the movie reminds me of my favorite film of the year (Benediction) so I totally can see this be my fave of next year, especially if it leans into the vibes of the non-IMAX trailer.

I got the normal trailer. What's different between that and the IMAX trailer? Remember to put in spoiler tags of course.

I won't be a believe in the commercial potential for this film unless drastically changes. This is First Man with a premiere release date.

Don't know how to do spoiler tag on mobile so trying to be vague as possible. Normal trailer is more dreamy while IMAX trailer is more tense. Former feels closer to something like an Interstellar trailer, latter closer to Dunkirk.

Well I'm glad I got the normal trailer then, because the dreamlike visuals and tone sold me on the film way more than the louder teaser did. Feel like the IMAX version wouldn't do much for me.

That's not all that was in the trailer lol. Nolan making it seem like a movie about an existential, world-ending threat does scale.
